How We Judge
One card, five categories, eighteen booths. The complete scoring method, posted for all to read.
The Judging Card
- Gate Value — 30 points. Free SC at signup, purchase multipliers, the daily calendar’s real monthly yield, and whether the playthrough rules are written straight.
- Prize Wagon Speed — 25 points. Stopwatch numbers from our own collection runs — never the time printed on the booth’s banner.
- The Games In The Tent — 20 points. Depth of the catalog, quality of the studios, exclusives, and whether SC mode gets the whole tent or a curtained corner.
- The Folks At The Counter — 15 points. Real support tickets, timed responses, ID-check friction, and how the booth runs on an ordinary phone.
- Reputation — 10 points. Who owns the booth, whether terms change quietly, and what documented visitor disputes sit in our files.
Ribbons
The top score takes the grand prize; the chasing pack wear red ribbons, the solid middle white, and the back of the program earns honorable mentions. Score under our floor and a booth is struck from the program outright — visitors never see the failures, only the note recording the removal.
What Re-Opens A Card
A repainted offer, quietly amended terms, a missed wagon window, or a visitor dispute with paperwork. Re-judging happens inside the week, and every ribbon movement is printed with its date and reason.
What Can’t Move A Score
Commission rates, ad budgets, gift baskets (sent back), or sweet talk. The judges never see the business ledger — the two tents don’t share a fence line.
Audit The Judges
Every attraction page shows its verification date. Walk the same booth and get different numbers? The ticket window takes your report, and a confirmed discrepancy re-opens the whole category.
